The Tennessee Titans schedule begins with two winnable games against Tampa Bay and Cleveland. The week one game against Tampa Bay will feature the top two rookie quarterbacks Jameis Winston and for Tennessee Marcus Mariota. That game will largely be decided by which rookie is more ready for the moment. The Titans will have an uphill battle all season long. They were a poor team last year who is starting a new quarterback once again, but they do have a favorable start to the 2015 season. Week two is followed by the top team in their division, the Indianapolis Colts coming to town. This game could get ugly for the Titans. It is hard to imagine a rookie quarterback going point for point with Andrew Luck and the explosive Colts offense. Week three could be a real wakeup call for the Titans and it may show us just how far they still have to go. After the game with the Colts, they face a string of mediocre teams in Buffalo, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston. None of these teams were playoff teams and it is possible the Titans could steal a victory or two during this stretch.

The Tennessee Titans schedule provides the best opportunity for victories from week 12 to 14. They face Jacksonville, Oakland, and Jacksonville again during this three game stretch. This will be a good litmus test for how much progress rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota has made over the course of the season. He will be going against two second year quarterbacks and two teams that are possibly further away from success than the Titans. Mariota may be able to use his legs to create offense against these two teams as they are not very disciplined on defense. The Titans also present a pretty solid defense that should show success against the young quarterbacks. This could be the best part of the season for Tennessee and give them something to build off of. The end of the season is a bit tougher as they face the Patriots and the Colts again to finish out the regular season. Overall, the Tennessee Titans schedule is middle of the road in difficulty. They have some winnable games on their schedule but it is difficult to say how good they will be with the rookie quarterback. Marcus Mariota was a great college quarterback but we have seen players such as Robert Griffin and Johnny Manziel who play similar styles, struggle when they reached the NFL. Quarterback is not the only area of concern for the Titans and although they do not have a relatively challenging schedule it could still be another long season for the fans in Tennessee.
