After all the hype, Jimmy Fallon has finally taken over The Tonight Show slot, transporting the famous franchise back to NBC studios in New York City. And he didn’t come alone – coming along is everyone’s favorite house (and hip-hop) band, The Roots, as well as all the best musical acts that Fallon was known for on his Late Night show. That said, last night’s debut was no disappointment.
U2 Joins Jimmy Fallon on Tonight Show Debut
A whole mess of guests joined in, including Will Smith, Robert DeNiro, Tina Fey, Joe Namath, Rudy Giuliani, Mariah Carey, Tracy Morgan, Joan Rivers, Kim Kardashian, Seth Rogen, Lindsay Lohan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mike Tyson, Lady Gaga, and Stephen Colbert. The musical guests were none other than U2, who performed their new single, “Invisible,” on the Top of The Rock, as well as an acoustic jam of “Ordinary Love” with The Roots in the studio.
