UTOPiAFest 2014 Lineup: See What Makes This Fest Different

The sixth annual UTOPiAFest is returning to Utopia, TX., for three days of camping, live music, yoga, disc golf and much more. This year’s lineup features a diverse array of artists including GZA with Brownout, Father John Misty, Cold War Kids, Warpaint and many more.

UTOPiAFest 2014 Lineup

In the crowded world of music festivals, UTOPiAFest has some refreshingly unique qualities that help separate this event from the rest of the pack. For starters, UTOPiAfest is BYOB. You read that correctly: Bring your own beer. None of that ‘$8 for a can of Bud Light’ business. This festival promotes freedom and peace of mind.

Utopiafest offers free camping and BYOB policy.

Another major perk at UTOPiA is the free camping. We’re not mentioning any names, but Firefly Bonnaroo some festivals charge over $200 just for a camping spot. What’s more, the capacity is capped at 2,000 to prevent overcrowding at stages, not to mention the promise of no music overlap.

This truly unique fest is a breath of fresh air in the crowded festival scene, without sacrificing lineup quality, either. There’s some impressive “gets” here, namely, Dan Deacon, Warpaint, and GZA, not to mention some reliably good folk from Wild Child and Wheeler Brothers.
