With many backups playing the majority of the game, the starters for both teams saw limited action but Cardinals starting QB Carson Palmer took advantage of his playing time throwing for a first quarter touchdown pass to WR John Brown. But in the start of the second quarter, the Chargers would pick up their scoring and would remain hot until the end of the game. Chargers kicker Josh Lambo kicked 3 field goals in the game as the Chargers edged out a win in Arizona 22-19.
